Design and UI
Page layouts and a visual style designed for your brand before any code is written, so you see the site before it is built.
Websites
Websites for businesses, studios and personal brands: designed around what you do, quick to load, and easy for your team to update without calling a developer.
I design and build the site myself, set up the hosting and the content editor, and make sure search engines can read every page. You deal with one person from the first sketch to launch day.
Most business websites have to do a few things well: explain what you offer, show that you can be trusted, and make it easy to get in touch or buy. I start from those goals, then design the pages and write the code around them.
Depending on what you need, that can be a few well-made pages, a site with a content editor your team uses every week, an online shop, or a site with a members' area. Every site is built for phones first, loads quickly, and comes with the technical SEO basics in place: page titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and clean addresses.
The parts of the work I take care of. Every estimate lists the ones your project needs.

Edit text, images, products or posts yourself, in an admin made for the content your site actually has.
Products, cart, checkout and online payments, when the site needs to sell.
Layouts that work on any screen, optimised images and lean code, so pages load quickly on a phone connection.
Titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and pages that search engines can read without running JavaScript.
Domain, hosting and SSL set up in your name, and the site deployed and checked on launch day.
The same four steps for every project, so you always know what comes next.
We talk through the idea, who it is for and what it has to do. You get a written scope and a price before anything is built.
I work out how it fits together, from the data model to the screens, and sketch the interface before writing code. The big decisions get made here, while they are still cheap to change.
I build it in the open: you get a link to a working preview and see it grow week by week, so the finished product is one you have already clicked through.
Deployment, handover and documentation for the parts you will touch. Afterwards I stay available for fixes and the next phase.
Projects I've built of this kind, each with the full story.
About websites projects in particular.
If any of this sounds like what you need, tell me about it. I answer every message myself, with questions, a rough estimate, or both.
